If you were to describe the “fun side” of HR, it would probably include engaging recruiting efforts and exciting rewards programs. You wouldn’t likely think of lesser-loved topics like handbook policies and salary ranges. These HR basics are often low on the priority list (perhaps developed at the gentle nudging of your friendly HR Consultant?) and left to collect dust in a binder on your office shelf…but they are so much more than simply boxes to check on your HR to-do list! These documents and programs should serve as the strong foundation upon which those more fun HR initiatives can stand.

Join us for a 6-part training series to explore how key HR Building Blocks can:

– Demonstrate legal compliance, helping you minimize and defend legal claims.

– Support consistency in company expectations and management decision-making, boosting productivity, efficiency, company growth.

– Maintain employee confidence and a positive employee experience, supporting positive morale and employee retention.

– This training series will provide new managers with a helpful overview of core HR functions, and remind seasoned HR professionals that our attention to these details is important and valuable!

Cost: $35 per participant. Participants who sign up for the entire six-part series will receive a discounted rate of $30 per workshop. 

Well-written and up-to-date policies are essential for showing compliance with state and federal laws. They give managers a framework for understanding employer obligations and holding employees accountable for company standards, and help employees to feel informed about company decision making.

Webinar log-in information and handouts will be provided via e-mail to all registrants the afternoon before the event. 

Certificates of completion are included and are generally provided within 2 – 3 weeks.

Cancellation Policy: No-shows and cancellations that occur less than 48 hours in advance will be billed. Substitutions will be accepted. Please let us know about changes in staffing before the webinar.
