LGBT Employment Issues: Understanding the Law and Supporting Success in a Diverse Workforce


EVENT SPEAKER: Lisa Cisneros, LGBT Program Director, CRLA

Cisneros is based in Watsonville, California, and oversees a statewide program that increases access to justice and supports civic engagement opportunities on behalf of rural, low-income lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.  She received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2007 and has practiced law for seven years.

HRCI and MCLE Credit

HRCI credits in the amount of 3.0 hours have been approved. This activity is also approved for Minimum Continuing Education Credit (MCLE) in the amount of 3.0 hours. Central California Legal Services, Inc. certifies this activity conforms to the rules and standards for approved education activities prescribed by the California State Bar governing minimum continuing education. State Bar approved activity evaluation sheets for California MCLE shall be provided.
