DESCRIPTION:Lunch and Learn: Navigating the Interactive Process…Reasonable Accommodations Under the ADA & FEHA (Webinar)\nCost: $35 per person\, or 3+ RSVP’s for $25. HR Business Partner Pricing:  1 FREE RSVP for HRBPs\, all additional RSVP’s are $25.\nThe interactive process is intended to be a collaborative\, good-faith discussion about how an employer can support an employee in successfully performing their job. However\, most managers have experienced uncertainty and challenges in this area\, and do not feel confident in what should or should not be happening. This training will provide practical guidance on recognizing when an accommodation may be needed; understanding the roles and responsibilities of both the employer and the employee; evaluating reasonable accommodations and undue hardship; and navigating situations when communication breaks down. Participants will gain strategies for approaching accommodation requests with patience\, flexibility\, and appropriate documentation\, while reducing legal risk and supporting a positive workplace. \nWebinar login details and handouts will be emailed to all registrants the afternoon before the event.
