In the past few years, hiring and retaining an effective team has become increasingly challenging. Turnover is costly and time-consuming, but qualified candidates seem hard to come by. HR Managers and business owners can use behavior-based interviewing skills to maximize the effectiveness of their recruiting strategies – identifying and securing the right candidates before they’re lured away by other employers. This workshop provides practical steps for conducting interviews that draw out behavioral examples of past performance in order to predict future behavior, and steps for advancing through the screening process efficiently. Attendees will also be able to understand and avoid legal pitfalls associated with poor interviewing techniques.
