Legal Beagle Workshop: Using Arbitration Agreements in the Workplace

February 26 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Many employers require employees to sign arbitration agreements as a condition of employment. Plaintiffs often attack those agreements because juries often rule in the employees’ favor. On Groundhog Day, the California Supreme Court issued a ruling on the validity of an employment arbitration agreement that has some good and bad news for employers. An understanding of the case will allow employers to draft and implement legally compliant arbitration agreements.

We invite business owners, managers, attorneys and human resource professionals to attend, via webinar, our Legal Beagle Bagel Breakfast to learn more about this new ruling, its impact on arbitration agreements and how to draft legally viable agreements.

Join us at our next Legal Beagle Workshop on February 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to learn about the benefits of having a legally enforceable arbitration agreement with all employees.

  • Why do I want an arbitration agreement? What are the benefits?
  • Can I mandate that employees sign an arbitration agreement? What happens if they refuse?
  • How can I prevent a court from invalidating an agreement?
  • What is unconscionability?
  • Can an arbitration agreement prevent a class action lawsuit? What about a PAGA lawsuit?
